Let us Never Forget

IN REMEMBRANCE OF TUESDAY
SEPTEMBER 11, 2001

How can we ever forget,
as we watch, we cry, we sit, 
with numbness and disbelief,
and feelings of incredible grief?
GOD BLESS the victims, their loved ones,
New York City and Washington,
and all the people who perished in jets, 
how can we ever forget?
GOD comfort and sustain us,
in these troubled times of chaos.
Let us pray,
here and far away, 
for all those who lost their lives,
and for those who have survived.
For the courageous and amazing heroes,
who put their lives in dangerous peril.
Fill us with GOD'S AMAZING GRACE,
for the future we are to face,
for we are America, a nation of freedom, 
and as Americans, we will overcome.
